Sightseeing
First time visitors to the island need to check off the tourist attractions on the list. Ibiza Town is the best place to visit first. It appears quiet, but this is only on the surface. The capital is both exciting and energetic. It offers the most authentic view of Ibiza.
The old world charm of its narrow streets and historic sites reminds one of other ancient European cities. As a UNESCO World Heritage site it’s unlike other parts of Ibiza.
If you’re here to eat then you won’t be disappointed. So many hidden restaurants and cafes full of Spanish and Mediterranean eats.
Take a moment to climb up the hill and see the original Old Town. It’s one of those views that puts the world in perspective. The Cathedral de San Maria is worth visiting as well. While you’re here spend some time at Talamanca Beach, it is close enough to enjoy a day in the soft sand and warm Mediterranean sun.
Nightlife
Playa d´en Bossa is a quick drive to the south of the Town of Ibiza. It is the best area for those who come to party all night and all week! It’s famous for clubs and all night parties as well as famous DJs that have got their start here and continue to flex their fame here. More importantly it holds claim to the longest stretching expanse of white sandy beach on the island. So many bars and clubs became established in this part of town. These are now the most famous party clubs on the island. After the day clubs close for the night, the night clubs open for those looking to continue the activities into the morning hours.
Capital City And The Beach
A short walk to well known spots like Super Club Pacha and the Marina Botafoch. That makes the makeup of the island to be more international than one would otherwise expect. The long stretch of sandy beach curves and provides an interesting vista at every turn along the wide wooden boardwalk. Clear shallow water makes Talamanca beach a safe haven for swimming and bathing. On one end, the boardwalk starts as a big beautiful promenade that connects both sides of the resort town. The promenade has a huge collection of restaurants and bars. Some of these stay open all year long. The bars blast the music, however it is not heard on the beach. The further down the boardwalk and away from the promenade you go the beach gets surprisingly quiet.
